PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To develop, improve, deploy, and coordinate Talent & Leadership strategy and processes, notably: talent management, learning and organisational development.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR / Industrial Psychology
  • At least 8 years HR experience of which at least 5 years in Organizational Development
  • Knowledge of the VET Levy Act
  • Knowledge of budget preparation and strategic talent development
  • FMCG experience will be an added advantage

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Proactively influence the design and development of strategic Talent management
  • Implement and lead NBL strategic talent planning and review processes and structures to enable NBL to anticipate and meet talent requirements in the short, medium, and long term
  • Monitor and evaluate future legislation, leading practices/market trends and competitive threats to deliver leading edge talent management practices
  • Responsible for the facilitation of Performance Management training across the organisation including at Executive levels
  • Drive effective and impactful Talent assessment, deployment, development and review processes and practices throughout NBL (including assessment processes and instruments, succession planning and talent review processes)
  • Develop NBL talent management and performance management metrics, aligned to Heineken, providing analysis and insight, and drive the use of talent data as a fundamental input into business planning
  • Lead the graduate and learnership recruitment and development processes
  • Ensure the succession of critical positions is matched by appropriate development plans and solutions with focus on mission critical roles
  • Lead the design and implementation of the Leadership programmes across various leadership levels
  • Partner with external service providers and vendors to ensure the execution of the wellness programme across NBL
  • Develop NBL OD strategic priorities and plans, to enable implementation of organizational change and capability priorities
  • Develop transition and anchoring plans for NBL change initiatives
  • Serve as custodian of the overall change agenda, guiding prioritisation, pacing, sequencing, and resourcing
  • Maintain effective stakeholder engagement and interaction to enable effective prioritisation of NBL change
  • Responsible for planning and compiling of annual Affirmative Action report, which includes Understudy planning for relevant positions
  • Lead, coach and develop staff within department
