The Oracle - Dyn Product Management team is looking for an experienced Product Management Professional to define, lead and deliver new Cloud Edge Security products and services.

  • Own the product lifecycle from product vision, to strategy and roadmap execution for a Cloud Edge product and/or service
  • Lead Customer Development and Voice-of-Customer engagements to integrate end user, market and customer use case requirements into a differentiated MVP and compelling feature roadmap for Cloud Edge products and services
  • Translate customer and market analysis into a product strategy that delivers on high-value customer requirements with a differentiated product and user experience
  • With Product Development, define product requirements, prioritize features, support product development from concept, to MVP to full feature product launch
  • With Product Marketing, develop compelling product / service content to drive customer awareness, accelerate customer engagements and deliver product growth
  • Evangelize our Cloud Edge vision, product and thought leadership with customers and industry analysts
  • Define, develop and deliver cloud edge pricing, packaging and positioning strategies

To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management or sales engineering experience
  • Experience across security services such as: Web Application Firewalls, Network Visibility, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Attack Mitigation and Prevention, Advanced Threat Analysis, API Protection for large scale networks and services
  • Strong understanding of the global cloud and enterprise security industry
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results in fast moving and evolving markets
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional sales, product and development teams to deliver new products that meet customer needs
  • BS, MS or MBA preferred. Strong relevant cloud product management experience

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
