C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, complex, and high-impact projects. This role requires exceptional organization, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. You’ll work closely with a broad stakeholder network—internally and externally—to align goals, gather insights, and deliver innovative solutions. Success in this position requires a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive results.

At C.H. Robinson, we value in-person collaboration to foster innovation and success. In this hybrid role, you’ll work on-site four days a week, with one remote day, balancing teamwork and autonomy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and manage large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.
  • Develop and maintain all project documentation, including charters, timelines, resource plans, business cases, and process flows.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates effectively across all levels; facilitate meetings and escalate issues as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities, ensuring stakeholder alignment and satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through change management initiatives, often without direct authority.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and buy-in.
  • Identify and address project challenges proactively; leverage critical thinking to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Track and report project financials, including budget versus actuals for resources and billing.
  • Transfer knowledge to internal teams and provide post-project support as necessary.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to tools, processes, and project delivery models.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 4 years of project management experience managing multiple, concurrent projects
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or late hours
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

Preferred:

  • PMP certification
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation sectors
  • Strong verbal and written communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to organize, design, develop and deliver projects for internal and external audiences at all levels
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with lean tools and continuous improvement environments
  • Experience managing ambiguity and delivering with minimal oversight
  • Comfortable working directly with customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation Range

$92,700.00 - $154,400.00
