Job Description

This role is on-site at one of our clients. As a material handler, you will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind raw materials for manufacturing high-quality printing ink. You will follow batch instructions to weigh, change, and mix inks, understand proper mixing procedures, and handle raw materials.

Responsibilities

  • Follow batch instructions to weigh batches and mix inks.
  • Understand and apply proper mixing procedures and raw material handling.
  • Mix batches of ink and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Operate milling equipment safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Prior manufacturing experience.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior chemical experience.
  • Color matching skills.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Chemical operator experience.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Batavia, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
