We look for an Execution Trader who has expertise in Chinese equities and futures to join our growing Onshore China D1 business. Key skillset requirements include:
- Supervise and monitor our automated trading systems in various markets that we trade in
- Assess live trading for any issues (e.g. risk, compliance, production issues) and quickly respond to unusual behaviours or market conditions
- Working closely with risk managers and trading teams to alert key staff of any intraday trading issues and collaborating with Optiver's engineers, brokers, and exchanges to resolve problems in real time
- Documenting monitoring procedures and log production issues as they occur
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have the below skills and experience.
- 2-5 years’ experience in trade monitoring, supervision, or similar role
- Prior trading experience highly desirable
- An understanding of China exchange-specific rules and procedures is desirable
- Solid experience with high-frequency automated trading strategies will be preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
