Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Digital Technology Operations Assistant who is detail-oriented, proactive, and digitally curious to join us in our Digital Technology Strategy and Solutions team, based in our HQ office in Anderlecht, Belgium.

About the role

You will be working in a team that supports the smooth execution of financial operations critical to UCB’s global Digital Technology efforts. From managing vendor contracts and invoices to preparing financial reports and cost allocations, your contributions will help ensure UCB’s technology initiatives run efficiently. This is a great opportunity to grow your expertise in financial processes while directly contributing to UCB’s patient-driven mission.

Who you’ll work with

You will be working in a global, collaborative team that includes colleagues from Digital Technology, Finance, and Procurement, as well as external partners. You will also provide executive support to the Chief Digital Technology Officer and assist members of the leadership team. Together, your work will support day-to-day financial integrity and help shape the digital future of healthcare.

What you’ll do

• Manage the full lifecycle of purchase requests and orders for digital contracts and services
• Oversee vendor invoice handling and resolve issues with internal teams and partners
• Support monthly financial close processes including accruals, cost tracking, and reporting
• Execute internal cost transfers and ensure accurate capital expenditure allocation
• Ensure accurate integration of vendor timesheets into internal systems
• Provide administrative and calendar support to the Chief Digital Technology Officer
• Coordinate international travel, meetings, and internal communication for DT leadership

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in operations, finance, or procurement
• Comfortable working with digital tools including SAP and Microsoft 365
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills in English (French or Dutch a plus)
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau is a strong asset
