Your impact

The Scheduler position requires proficiency with Primavera 6 (P6) software to develop, update, and maintain project schedules for Utility-Major Programs as assigned. The scheduler is responsible for maintaining project schedules and assists the project manager by updating and monitoring each project P6 schedule, highlighting delays, providing visibility of upcoming milestones, and guidance for schedule management strategy. The Scheduler will update schedule information from the PMs as assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, report, and manage schedule data for portfolio of assigned projects
  • Extract schedule information from reporting systems and analyzing data to report on status of the project
  • Identify root cause of schedule variances and partner with the PCA to define future spending in justifiable terms
  • Lead schedule re-baseline activities as needed with the Lead Scheduler and PM’s concurrence
  • Participates in and may lead project level schedule review meetings
  • Advise project manager of change orders with schedule impact
  • Participates with management in development of strategies and plans
  • Creates and updates P6 Schedules
  • Quality control and quality assurance of project schedule
  • Respond to all unifier workflow requests in a timely manner
  • Validate contractors’ project schedule accuracy
  • Liaison with contractors scheduling resources
  • Actively participate in and identify scheduling process improvement initiatives

We are currently hiring mainly for our large load major projects ($25 million or above) in the San Francisco Bay Area (SF, Peninsula, East Bay, and South Bay). And for proficiency in scheduling (P6) with a construction background preferred. #epjobs #naepjobs

Here's what you'll need

Required:

  • Working knowledge of P6 and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 6 plus years of experience
  • A good understanding of building construction, timelines, and practices

Desired:

  • Prior experience with Unifier
  • Experience scheduling engineering or construction projects.
  • Prior scheduling experience with electric utilities a plus.

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

101,600.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

130,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $101,600.00 to $130,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
