Job Description
BAE Systems' F35 Lightning II program has an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified systems engineer to analyze F-35 JSF prognostic performance data to derive prospective algorithm candidates. In this role the individual performs as part of the F-35 Off-Board Prognostics and Health Management (OBPHM) and Force Life Management (FLM) teams. The individual responsibilities consist of analyzing performance data to identify critical items degrading fleet performance and converting the information into presentable format for required stakeholders to support maintenance and maturation of the F-35.
Perform in depth analysis of maintenance data to determine the root cause of aircraft part failures trending across the fleet. Analyses are performed from a variety of technical sources. Must be able to communicate effectively with Subject Matter Experts and Data Scientists to provide evidence of the root cause of failures.
Additional responsibilities include:
Candidate will maintain open lines of communication to provide proactive interface with stakeholders on performance metric reporting. Candidate will be a self-starter, manage time appropriately and have the ability to establish and maintain a library of technical performance reporting.

Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
