Section 1: Position Summary
The Web Development Manager will lead the development and maintenance of our public websites using the Umbraco Content Management system, ensuring they are innovative, user-friendly, and all aspects of the system are utilized to their fullest potential. This role involves overseeing a team of developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices in web development. This role requires the individual to actively participate in tasks while also leading and mentoring the team and will balance between hands-on execution and team leadership. The Web Development Manager will collaborate with our digital product marketing team, as well as other stakeholders, to set the strategic roadmap for our public web development projects, ensuring the execution of the roadmap is completed on time and on scope.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern web development technologies and delivery frameworks. They will be a strong communicator, able to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build consensus around project goals and priorities. This role must proactively solve problems, anticipate issues, and have strong technical knowledge and project management skills. A strong familiarity with Umbraco, its customization capabilities, and its best practices will be crucial for this role.

The national average salary range for this role is 100-140k in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses and benefits. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salary offered will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, performance, and internal pay alignment. We do not anticipate that candidates hired will begin at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
