  • Level 1: Estimated hourly base pay: $16.11 (minimum) - $20.14 (midpoint) - $24.17 (maximum)

Woodward is hiring for a 1st shift Stockhandler to join our team at the Loves Park Campus. Individuals with experience in inventory or stockroom control are highly encouraged to apply!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Effectively using the ERP system to perform various computer transactions to locate, move and adjust inventory.
  • Interacting with team members and internal customers regularly throughout the day.
  • Continuously communicating and comprehending verbal and written correspondence (email) to assist internal customers.
  • Standing, physically moving, lifting or carrying materials, pushing carts, racks, or cages to transport materials from one area of the facility to another.
  • Working with numbers to perform verification and matching of critical data.
  • Continually counting parts, cycle counting and repeatedly performing addition, subtraction and division calculations.
  • Using reasoning and historical data to trouble shoot inventory inconsistencies.
  • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. Note: Some product lines have heavier lifting requirements due to product type.
  • Ability to stand for entire shift.
  • Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
  • May be required to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous stockroom or inventory experience is preferred
  • Experience in handling inventory in a warehouse environment is desired
  • Solid computer, reading, writing and math skills are requested
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team atmosphere and adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Material handling

Minimum Requirements:

Level 1:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

Level 2:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • 1 or more years of experience in an inventory, stockroom or related experience type of role
