Description:This position will be part of an emerging leader supporting the Operation Team within Supplier Quality Management Team.

Tasks may varied but consist of the following:

  • Evaluates quality process and system standards to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Performs and reports on internal and external audits, system, product and process conformity, pre-audits and special audits.
  • Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring quality system process discrepancies.
  • Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer and supply chain representatives to ensure quality system process requirements are met and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage complex projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation and execution
  • Be a resource of information and guidance to the team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • Background with experience in one or more of the following areas: quality engineering, quality assurance, quality inspection & quality auditing.
  • Experience with hands on, working knowledge of engineering design, manufacturing, and quality processes.

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication and presentations.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management System requirements and applicability.
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
  • Excellent teaming skills; must interface with all levels of management, technical experts, and floor level of personnel in a multi-organizational environment.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE or CMQOE certification
  • High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals. Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
