Primary Purpose:
The Design & Digital Marketing Manager supports the execution of Uplift Education’s digital and creative marketing campaigns, focusing on graphic design production, paid digital advertising, email marketing, and reporting. This role works under the direction of the Senior Director of Marketing and reports to the Director of Marketing to implement marketing strategies that drive enrollment growth, increase brand awareness, and engage families across the Uplift network. The Design & Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for building and managing campaigns across multiple platforms, producing design assets, and ensuring accurate execution of tactics and timely delivery of creative materials.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Content Development & Graphic Design
- Develop and design creative assets for print, digital ads, emails, website pages, social media posts, blogs, newsletters, video graphics, and family communications.
- Support in writing and editing clear, engaging, and on-brand copy to accompany design content across platforms.
- Adapt messaging and visuals for various audiences while maintaining consistency with Uplift’s brand tone and goals.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Marketing to align creative materials with marketing objectives.
Digital Advertising Execution
- Build and launch paid media campaigns across digital platforms (Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, search, and display) based on strategies defined by the Senior Director of Marketing.
- Execute ad setup, audience targeting, budget allocations, creative uploads, scheduling, and daily monitoring within each platform.
- Make platform adjustments as needed in coordination with the Senior Director of Marketing.
- Pull regular performance reports to track campaign results and share updates with internal teams.
- Ensure proper lead tracking and data flow from digital campaigns into the CRM.
Email Marketing & CRM Support
- Build and schedule email campaigns to prospective and current families using HubSpot, MailChimp and SchoolMint.
- Support the execution of nurture flows, automated email sequences, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Assist in maintaining list segmentation, personalization, and data accuracy within HubSpot and MailChimp.
Website & Content Updates
- Update content and graphics for Uplift’s website, landing pages, and family portal as assigned.
- Work with internal teams and the external webmaster to ensure timely and accurate updates, as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
- Support ongoing content refreshes to ensure families have current and helpful information.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate tracking of campaign performance, email metrics, and digital advertising data.
- Provide routine reports and campaign summaries to the Director of Marketing and Senior Director of Marketing.
- Collaborate regularly with enrollment, recruitment, and school teams to align marketing execution with organizational priorities.
Education, Experience, and/or Certification(s)
- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience Requirements: 2-5 years of relevant paid media experience (at agency or marketer) across media strategy, channel mix / tactical plan development, and paid media reporting/analytics
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and related design tools and proven experience with design for business and brand management.
- Strong knowledge of best practices of design for digital and print marketing, including website accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM/email platforms.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and digital advertising platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a strong eye for design consistency and brand alignment.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Effective communicator both in written and oral formats
Physical Demands:
Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting; repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching; occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
Work Environment:
Uplift allows hybrid remote work. While in the office, the work environment is representative of those an employee encounters while working in an office. The environment requires proximity to other employees, frequent interruptions, extended periods of time viewing a computer screen, and noise levels from moderate to high.
Starting Salary: $65,000
