Here at Amazon, we're seeking for an experienced Program Manager to lead our program related initiatives for the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program in India. The Senior Program Manager - DSP will own the DSP life cycle management, Capacity and Business Health charters for over 180+ DSPs. The incumbent would be responsible for developing partner evaluation framework to assess DSPs eligible for expansion opportunities through “Pinnacle” program. (S)he will also coordinate the launch of “Pinnacle” pilot in India with WW stakeholders and drive global parity by establishing Business Review (BR) process.

The PM will require requisite technical skills to extract, manipulate, and leverage large amounts of data. In addition to the above responsibilities, the Sr. Program Manager will spearhead DSP related analytics driving the quarterly review mechanisms and support central DSP 2.0 program strategy. To achieve this, the Sr. PM will need to support in tracking and streamlining DSP performance management, DSP sentiment & engagement.

Key job responsibilities

As a Senior program manager, you will:

  • Define, design, launch and manage new/existing transportation related programs in India.
  • Gather requirements and conceptualize a transportation solution to solve a business problem.
  • Work with key stake holders across various functions to define and launch a program.
  • Program-manage existing DSP programs and any adhoc programs basis business needs

This Sr. Program Manager role requires leading medium to large scale efficiency improvement projects across cross-functional teams. As this role would interact extensively with both internal (L5-L8 leaders in Operations, Finance, Legal, PR, WW DSP teams etc.) and external (DSPs) stakeholders, it is extremely vital that the candidate is able to earn trust. The role also requires significant levels of influence without authority and the leader has to gather business requirements, identify resources, and develop milestones to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project. (S)he is expected to assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, use sound judgement and make tradeoffs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
