Job Title: IT Project Manager – M&A Integration

Location: Hybrid – Ideally 2 days/week in Waltham, 2 days/week in Norwood, MA

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $80+/hour

Duration: 12–18 months (with strong potential for extension)

Introduction

TPG is hiring an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a high-profile M&A integration project for a rapidly expanding medical device and life sciences technology organization. This role is at the center of a major system transformation following the acquisition of a significantly larger entity. With multiple ERP, CRM, and operational systems needing unification, this is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in enterprise-level systems consolidation and digital transformation.

Ideal for a candidate who thrives in regulated environments and has led complex IT projects—especially during post-acquisition phases—this role is a great fit for a confident communicator and expert planner.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in project management, including direct experience with IT system integrations and M&A transformations
• Expertise in ERP and CRM platforms, such as SAP, NetSuite, or Epicor
• Proven experience in resource planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and status reporting
• Must be available to work onsite 3–4 days/week across Greater Boston locations (Waltham, Norwood, or Billerica)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional leaders
• Comfortable preparing and delivering detailed project plans and presentations
• References will be required after the first-round interview

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Industry background in medical devices, biotechnology, or life sciences
• Understanding of licensing and validation in regulated environments
• PMP certification or MBA
• Experience managing mobile app projects or CRM modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with both traditional and Agile/Scrum methodologies (hybrid environments)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide M&A integration initiatives, with a focus on IT systems consolidation
• Oversee migration from multiple ERP/CRM systems into a unified environment
• Manage timelines, track deliverables, coordinate cross-functional workstreams
• Work closely with Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to ensure alignment and transparency
• Identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues where appropriate
• Prepare executive-level reports and present project milestones and metrics
• Ensure adherence to compliance requirements and operational governance throughout execution
