Workday Canada is looking for outstanding Presales Managers. This is your chance to manage, lead and mentor a world class cross-functional Presales Team, spanning 3 functions (Enterprise Architecture, HCM Solution Consulting, Financials Solution Consulting), selling the market’s most disruptive ERP platform. You will be supported and surrounded by some of the best and brightest people in the industry. At Workday, you will be in great company.

The role encompasses actively managing the team through deal assignments, mentoring, and individual deal support.  There is a heavier emphasis on Coach than Player but credibility in the role is derived from the ability to contribute and participate in sales cycles.  Alignment with Regional Sales Directors, Account Executives, other Presales Managers, and team members are a critical part of day-to-day interaction and another measure of success outside of managing the team.
Your experience and contributions to this role include:

  • Responsible for the growth and motivation of team members based on defined development plans
  • Work with the sales team to identify optimal resource mix
  • Actively contribute to sales opportunities to secure success
  • Frequent on-site deal support to help opportunities be successful as well as to provide on-going constructive feedback to the Sales leadership
  • Promote the sense of team by encouraging collaboration within the team and with the greater Presales ecosystem
  • Develop trusted, collaborative relationships with the broader regional team members
  • Continually recruit members of the team for purposes of expansion 
  • Operate in alignment with Workday’s values and culture

Leverage your bilingual (English and French) 6+ years of presales experience plus at least 3 years of experience managing cross-functional presales teams, along with excellent communication, presenting, mentoring and enterprise software industry experience to become a presales manager at Workday.
