We seek a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to lead high-impact technology initiatives across a global manufacturing company's supply chain, manufacturing, and finance functions. This role will be responsible for delivering complex ERP projects—spanning Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Infor, SAP, and Oracle—across multiple regions and business units. The successful candidate will also help establish and manage an enterprise-wide IT Project Management Office (PMO) to drive consistent, value-driven execution across the global IT portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP & Business Systems Project Leadership – Global Focus:

  • Lead the delivery of ERP and business system projects across multiple countries, regions, and manufacturing sites.
  • Manage cross-functional, cross-border teams to implement or upgrade platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor LX/CloudSuite, SAP, and Oracle EBS/Cloud.
  • Drive integration of ERP platforms with global supply chain systems (e.g., EDI, production planning) and corporate financial systems.
  • Align global business process owners in finance, operations, and supply chain to standardize and optimize processes.
  • Manage project planning, resource allocation (internal and external), risk mitigation, and international stakeholder engagement.

PMO Development & Governance:

  • Support the stand-up and operation of a centralized PMO to manage the global IT project portfolio.
  • Define governance standards, intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and project health metrics.
  • Create and maintain PMO templates, playbooks, and tools to ensure consistent delivery across global teams.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing to regional project managers and business leaders.
  • Champion PMO maturity growth and adoption across IT and business leadership.

Business Alignment & Communication:

  • Serve as the primary interface between global business functions and IT for assigned initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication across multiple time zones, cultures, and business units to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Deliver clear, concise updates and executive-level dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Manage organizational change management efforts to support system and process adoption worldwide.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification required; Agile/Scrum certification a plus.
  • 7+ years of IT project management experience, including 3+ years in global manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience leading ERP implementations or transformations across multiple countries or business units.
  • Strong functional knowledge in supply chain, manufacturing, and finance processes—including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, production, and general ledger.
  • Demonstrated success managing major ERP platforms: Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor, SAP, Oracle.
  • Proven ability to manage global vendor teams, internal stakeholders, and culturally diverse project environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with global regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, ISO, ITAR, GDPR).
  • Working knowledge of project portfolio management (PPM) platforms and tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Jira, and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
  • Change management or organizational readiness experience in a global setting.

Travel: Up to 10%, including international travel to manufacturing sites, regional offices, or project locations.
