Job Description:
A new position for a Certification Qualification Engineer (CQE) for French Legacy activities is opened within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. In this position, you will integrate the Initial Airworthiness Department of Airbus Helicopters, in the MRO (Maintenance Repairs & Overhaul) CQE team.
The mission of the Certification Engineer is mainly to contribute to the compliance demonstration to the applicable airworthiness requirements FAR27/CS27 and FAR29/CS29 for each new design, and retrofit activities.
You will participate to the certification & qualification activities for Structure, Engine/performance, H/C System (Fuel, Hydraulics, Mechanical Flight Control, Landing Gear…), Cabin & Cargo arrangements, Inboard and Outboard mission equipment (Cargo Hook, Rescue Hoist, …), Weapon Systems and also software upgrade… So many new needs our customers are requiring for a more modern aircraft.
This results in a challenging transverse position, with many interfaces internally to Airbus Helicopters, but also with Aviation Authorities (civil EASA, military DGA, UK MOD/MAA, NLD/...). This is leading to have a good overview on Airbus Helicopters French Legacy products (Alouette, Gazelle, Colibri, Ecureuil, Dauphin, Puma, Super Puma) and organization. The main activities will be to address certification activities related to customers' helicopters undergoing a retrofit within AH MRO facilities.
Each project involves various contributors (Chief Engineering, System Design Responsible, experts, customer support, flight tests pilots & engineers,...).
You will have to understand all the aspects of each project (technical content, configuration) in order to be able to contribute to establish the related certification program. This consists in the identification of all FAR27/CS27/FAR29/CS29 affected requirements, and proposed Means of Compliance. As CQE you will contribute to establish the certification strategy, and to harmonize it with all relevant Certification Verification Engineers within AH Design Office. As CQE you will have the responsibility to contribute to conduct certification activities related to minor changes.

Un nouveau poste d'Ingénieur Qualification Certification (CQE) dédié aux activités liées aux flottes Legacy françaises est à pourvoir au sein d'Airbus Helicopters à Marignane. Dans le cadre de ce poste, vous intégrerez le département de navigabilité initiale d'Airbus Helicopters, au sein de l'équipe CQE MRO.
La mission de l'Ingénieur Certification est principalement de contribuer à la démonstration de la conformité aux exigences de navigabilité applicables (FAR27/CS27/FAR29/CS29) pour chaque nouvelle conception, et les activités de retrofit. Vous participerez aux activités de certification et de qualification pour la Structure, Moteur/performance, H/C System (Fuel, Hydraulics, Mechanical Flight Control, Landing Gear…), Cabin & Cargo arrangements, Inboard and Outboard mission equipment (Cargo Hook, Rescue Hoist, …),les systèmes d’armes et les évolutions de software. … autant de nouveaux besoins que nos clients exigent d'un appareil plus moderne.
Il en résulte une position transversale difficile, avec de nombreuses interfaces internes à Airbus Helicopters, mais aussi avec les autorités de l'aviation (civile EASA, militaire DGA/UK MOD/MAA NLD/...). Il s'agit d'avoir une bonne vue d'ensemble des produits français d'Airbus Helicopters (Alouette, Gazelle, Colibri, Ecureuil, Dauphin, Puma, Super Puma) et de l'organisation de l'entreprise. Les principales activités consisteront à traiter les activités de certification liées aux hélicoptères des clients faisant l'objet d'une remise à niveau dans les installations de MRO d'Airbus Helicopters.
Chaque projet implique différents contributeurs (Chief Engineering, System Design Responsible, experts, support client, atelier MRO, pilotes et ingénieurs d'essais en vol, ...).
Vous devrez comprendre tous les aspects de chaque projet (contenu technique, configuration) afin de pouvoir contribuer à l'établissement du programme de certification correspondant. Cela consiste en l'identification de toutes les exigences FAR27/CS27/FAR29/CS29 concernées et des moyens de conformité proposés.
En tant que CQE, vous contribuerez à établir la stratégie de certification et à l'harmoniser avec tous les ingénieurs de vérification de la certification concernés au sein du bureau d'études AH.
En tant que CQE, vous aurez la responsabilité de contribuer à la conduite des activités de certification liées aux modifications mineures.
