You will play a pivotal role in steering the digital transformation initiatives within the organization.

Your role is crucial in driving the success and innovation of IIoT Platform in Weir. You are responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy, ensuring seamless integration of technologies, and optimizing pricing and costs. By guiding cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder communications, you will ensure that the platform meet market demands, deliver customer value, and achieve business goals. This role is pivotal in maintaining competitive advantage and fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment.

Objectives & Measurement

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

• Strategic Planning: Define and align the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform as a product. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Prioritize Platform features based on customer feedback, market demand, and business value.
• Platform Launch and Quality: Oversee the launch, and lifecycle management of platform, Monitor Platform performance, quality and make data-driven adjustments. Focus on usability, reliability, performance , security, and data integration to enhance platform functionality.
• Pricing and Cost Optimization: Develop strategies that enables Platform to generate revenue (Internal license model and support for external license model) while ensuring customer value. Optimize costs by identifying efficiencies in Platform development and operations. Monitor and adjust pricing based on market conditions and competitive analysis.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management , Architecture, Engineering, Data Science/AI , R&D, Delivery and QA teams to ensure cohesive Platform development and successful launches. Work closely with customer support to address user needs and improve customer satisfaction. Communicate Platform strategy and progress to stakeholders, including the executive team, product team, and customers. Manage expectations and handle feedback effectively.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• IIOT( Industrial Internet of Things ) experience
• Previous experience in a Product/Platform Management position
• Product Leadership experience
• Experiene working with Product Licensing/Product Pricing Models
