Job summary

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join us in Helsinki, Finland. In this role, you will partner with 2-3 account managers to help them make large deals. You'll also find and close other sales opportunities on your own and that will include coordination with different stakeholders. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will also work with external partners to increase business and create solutions that serve the best interests of both our top-tier Finnish customers and Red Hat. This position is a great first step to start a sales career within Red Hat, and to work collaboratively with multicultural teams both internally and externally.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Grow and renew existing customer relationships; discover and develop new business opportunities
  • Work closely with the key account managers; provide quotes and pricing and respond to sales inquiries
  • Engage with customers, partners, and distributors on a daily basis
  • Take part in prospecting efforts for potential clients and try to capture their interest
  • Manage forecasts and pipeline, record sales activity, and track customer data using company-standard customer relationship management (CRM) tool
  • Work with the Finance, Bid Desk, Legal, and Operations teams across the region to help facilitate deals
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry and Red Hat's competitive position

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline
  • Motivated and goal-oriented
  • Clear focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize
  • Understanding of the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Ability to come up with ideas and learn from successes to improve business over the phone
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate complex activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and motivation to learn and progress in a software-development organization
  • Fluency in Finnish and English languages; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position (outside, inside, telesales, or sales administration) is a plus
