A Day in the Life

Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) works closely with clinicians to improve hospital performance and patient care. In the Nordics, we are a small, agile team of consultants developing innovative projects and solutions for some of the region’s largest hospitals.

We are currently looking for a committed Student Worker to support data analysis and data collection within a key partnership in Tampere.

Internship details:

• Start date: August/September
• Duration: 12 months
• Working hours: 15-20 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
• Working model: hybrid - you will mainly be working on projects in hospitals within driving distance of Tampere/Helsinki
• Location: Tampere

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree
• Supporting the creation of data-driven analytics to improve the clinical, operational, and financial outcomes
• Supporting translating complex data into easily understandable presentations for the use by clinical staff and leaders.

Required Knowledge:

• Currently studying a bachelor's or master’s degree
• Fluent in Finnish, both spoken and written
• At least upper-intermediate (B2) level of English language
• Strong quantitative skills combined with a curious and empathetic approach
• Strong interest in mathematical and general data analysis

Would be a plus:

• Good knowledge of MS office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
