Job Responsibilities

Sr Pricing Strategy Analyst - (22009609)

JOB SUMMARY

Collects and interprets multiple types of financial and operational data to support the Company’s rate development and pricing strategy across the portfolio of business. Develops internal cost rates and external bill rates for use in budgets and contracts. Builds detailed financial models that leverage internal systems to support the operational business units and executive management in pricing and partnership decisions. Subject-matter expert within the Strategic Pricing Department involving rates. Maintains impeccable accuracy for data being managed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops bill and cost rates for special strategic pricing arrangements, including functional service provider (FSP) and insourcing opportunities
  • Analyze internal costs and calculate the cost/bill rates for annual process and for mid-year review of Syneos’ Full Service standard rates
  • Maintains bill and cost rate templates, study specific files, and databases
  • Collaborates with Pricing Leads, Business Development, Proposals and Therapeutic Business Units to develop tailored rate and pricing solutions for key customers
  • Develops high quality projection models that incorporate complex financial and operational data to support pricing strategy and decision-making
  • Produces high quality reporting and analysis to management, as well as ad hoc analyses
  • Develops presentations that clearly articulate strategy to internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of analysis and reporting processes and tools, to enhance quality, clarity, and timeliness of output. Works with Finance, Information Technology, and other functions to address related issues and potential system enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree, Finance/Accounting preferred
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Advanced skillset with Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical skills, working closely with data, internal business parties and external customers
  • Demonstrated ability in the creation, analysis, and communication of large volumes of data effectively and clearly
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a global organization
  • Demonstrated excellence with verbal and written communication, including presentation skills
