CTG is seeking to fill an Automation Specialist opening for our client in Overland Park, KS.

Location: Overland Park, KS

Duration: 11 months

Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions to improve efficiency in operations and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows and identify automation opportunities
  • Configure and support automation tools such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), scripting environments, and workflow orchestration systems
  • Monitor and maintain existing automation processes, resolving issues as they arise
  • Document technical processes, automation logic, and configuration changes
  • Provide support, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Skills:

  • Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate)
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages
  • Familiarity with workflow and orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub Actions)
  • Understanding of system integration, APIs, and data flow processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automation development or related technical field
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying automation workflows in a production environment
  • Experience collaborating with IT and business stakeholders on automation initiatives

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
