Communication Designer (Bothell, WA)

As a part of Philips Oral Health Care’s multidisciplinary Design team, you will create engaging and effective communication across physical and digital consumer touch points for international markets.

Your role:

  • You design and deliver packaging design concepts (primary focus), and online shopper communication assets to enable ease of navigation, clarity, stand-out and brand consistency. You drive project scope and outcomes independently, delivering relevant output on time and quality from project initiation to launch.
  • You’ll collaborate with product managers, marketing managers, researchers, designers, project managers, engineers, and suppliers to see your design projects through from concept to production. You seek to understand people’s needs (as users and shoppers), customer’s needs (from markets and retailers), and Philips’ business objectives to ensure that the final solution achieve the desired outcome and meet our brand requirements.
  • In this role, you’ll see the impact of your work in the market and receive feedback for continuous improvement. You’ll learn how design works within innovation and marketing processes and how Philips Sonicare orchestrates our brand experience.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience with demonstrable evidence in visual communication design, packaging design, digital consumer touchpoints, brand identity development, leading design projects within a creative team environment.
  • You are skilled in visual communication, such as layout, color, typography, composition, imagery with a keen sense of aesthetics. You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Miro and Microsoft office.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in visual communication or graphic design related education. (No prior experience is needed with master’s degree).
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re a team player who can competently manage stakeholders, are adaptable and have a strong attention to detail. You can communicate and present effectively with clear rationale in English.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in (Bothell, WA) is $110,000 to $177,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA.
