This role will focus on bottom line growth for our card portfolio through a variety of projects that span pricing actions, new capability development, cost reduction and regulatory adherence. You will lead a team of 2 and partner with a variety of key stakeholders across the business locally and centrally.You are a driver of results, highly organized, a master relationship builder, bring a strategic vision, a comfort with financial analysis and aren’t scared off by technical details. You’re motivated by multiple initiatives on the go, have a passion for innovation and problem solving, and are energized by leading and coaching others.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management – Keep yourself and your stakeholders moving in the right direction.

  • Stay organized across multi-phased projects that span multiple platforms.
  • Help define clear deliverables and workback schedules for interdependent teams.
  • Define and execute strong testing and controls.
  • Proactively anticipate risks or obstacles and ensure adequate mitigation strategies.

Drive Results – Deliver high impact projects and initiatives.

  • Action a set of complex projects that improve lending margins and/or ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead with a sense of urgency and persistence in meeting objectives.
  • Motivate others to act with timeliness and define success.
  • Ensure flawless delivery.

Opportunity Analysis – Identify and investigate areas for potential future margin enhancements

  • Support cost-benefit analysis for potential new initiatives.
  • Understand feasibility, dependencies and risks associated with potential future projects.
  • Monitor external environment to identify competitive threats and opportunities.
  • Maintain an ongoing roadmap.

People Leadership – Lead 2 direct reports.

  • Support the growth and development of your team.
  • Lead with integrity to create a high functioning team who have a continual eye for flawless execution and future opportunities.

Relationship Management – Build a common vision across stakeholders in order to drive strategy.

  • Influence to gain stakeholder buy-in.
  • Maintain strong collaboration across multiple functions including Global Accounts Receivable, Acquisition, Legal, Compliance, Operational Excellence, Risk and Product teams.
  • Drive support and ensure alignment during changes to scope and in finding resolution of issues.

QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years experience on:

  • Project management.
  • Driving results against top or bottom line metrics.
  • Organizing and gaining insights from financial data.
  • People leadership.
  • Relationship management and influencing across a diverse group of stakeholders.

This will include:

  • Ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfort with technical processes and systems.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strength in organizing teams and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Proactive ability to anticipate risks and issues to ensure adequate mitigation is put in place.
