Job Description:

The IT Director for Supply Chain Architecture & Supply Chain Order to Cash Value Stream Applications will be responsible for overseeing the technology strategy, architecture and delivery for the Supply Chain Order to Cash Value Stream applications, in addition to technology strategy and architecture for the Supply Chain Procure to Pay applications . This role involves leading a transformative team of IT professionals, ensuring the seamless integration of technology with business goals, and driving groundbreaking innovation to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives for all of Supply chain.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define technology roadmaps and investment priorities.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including developers, analysts, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and high performance.

Supply Chain Order to Cash Value Stream:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications across the supply chain order to cash value stream (Order Management System, Billing System, Warehouse Management System, Transportation Management System).
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all technology solutions.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including data privacy and security.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor and manage IT budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the business & other IT teams to align technology initiatives with business needs.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT and business to drive project success.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of IT Experience, with at least 7+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on Supply chain applications, across Order to Cash (primary focus) & Procure to Pay value streams.
  • Proven track record of leading successful technology projects and teams.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Supply chain systems (Order Management, Billing, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Master Data Management, Demand Forecasting, Procurement etc).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
