What you’ll do
As a Sr. BI Domain Architect, you will be responsible for defining and guiding the architecture strategy across commercial projects, working closely with internal teams and external partners. You will ensure solutions are scalable, aligned with business objectives, and take advantage of opportunities across the data landscape. Your role will be critical in maintaining architectural oversight and driving innovation through cross-project synergy.
More specifically, you will:
- Define architecture and technical solutions that align with business goals and IT strategy.
- Manage and deliver the domain roadmap in collaboration with external vendors and stakeholders.
- Maintain an end-to-end view of the data domain to identify cross-project opportunities and synergies.
- Review requirements, specifications, and business processes to ensure solution alignment and feasibility.
- Oversee and ensure availability of development and test environments for successful project delivery.
- Work across on-premises and cloud environments to design and support hybrid solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to produce detailed technical documentation and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Identify and propose opportunities to improve data integration, reuse, and value across different projects.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards, data governance, and security principles.
- Act as a key technical advisor during the evaluation and onboarding of third-party partners or platforms.
Who you are
- 5-7 years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment
- Proven ability to design solutions across both cloud and on-premises infrastructure (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and integration patterns using modern tools (e.g., BigQuery, Apache Airflow, Dataflow).
- Solid SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schema, data vault, etc.).
- Strong understanding of the data domain, with the ability to spot reuse opportunities across projects.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, including external partners.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills; TOGAF or similar certification is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek & English and with both technical and business audiences
