WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This full-time position is based in Bain’s Mexico office and sits within the Bain Capability Network's Performance Improvement Centre of Expertise (PI CoE). The PI CoE supports global consulting teams by driving cost reduction and optimization through a suite of solutions across Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

You’ll join the Accelerated Performance Transformation team, a critical part of the PI practice area. This team focuses on long-duration cost transformation projects and works closely with Bain’s consulting teams and clients in a client-facing capacity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Associate, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities that directly impact our client work:

  • Lead complex deliverables across the Performance Improvement domain, including Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Cost Transformation
  • Collaborate with global Bain case teams and senior leadership to identify client-specific trends, validate assumptions, and align recommendations with industry benchmarks and best practices
  • Leverage benchmarking data to uncover and validate value creation opportunities across functions
  • Foster collaboration across BCN and global teams for integrated delivery and knowledge sharing
  • Drive structured problem-solving and develop compelling stories aligned with Bain’s quality standards
  • Interpret data to distill actionable business insights and recommendations
  • Ensure rigorous quality control and deliver high-quality work
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external clients
  • Use relevant analytical tools and internal repositories to extract and analyze data
  • Produce client-ready documents containing implementable solutions

ABOUT YOU

  • Graduate (preferably in engineering, commerce, business, or economics) with 2–4 years of relevant experience or MBA/Post-Graduate with a strong academic record and 0–3 years of relevant experience; consulting experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and AI tools is a plus
  • Strong multitasking and team collaboration skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior stakeholders
