We are seeking a Senior Product Manager Technical to drive the implementation and adoption of our enterprise workforce planning platform. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and subject matter experts to deliver an innovative planning experience that transforms how Amazon leaders make talent investment decisions.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business and finance stakeholders to ensure successful product adoption and alignment with planning cycles
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and workforce planning subject matter experts to translate complex requirements into executable features
  • Design and deliver intuitive planning experiences for senior leaders that enable data-driven workforce decisions
  • Drive product rollout strategy, including pilot programs and broader deployment phases
  • Analyze and present feature trade-offs with comprehensive data-backed recommendations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes
  • Define and track success metrics for product adoption and business impact
  • Manage stakeholder communications and change management initiatives

A day in the life

You will drive the strategy, vision, and roadmap of the product suite to aid the talent and workforce plan for hundreds of thousands of employees globally. You will define and build an experience to create action based, data and science-informed, solutions at speed and scale. You will innovate and experiment to learn on behalf of our customers, partnering with engineers, scientists, economists, HR, Finance, and workforce planning leaders across Amazon. Interfacing with executive leadership and stakeholders, you will influence a new strategic direction global workforce strategy.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with enterprise planning systems or HR technology
  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes
  • Experience launching products in complex organizational environments
  • Track record of successful stakeholder management
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • MBA or advanced degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
