Who Are We Looking For
SentinelOne is instrumental in powering the cybersecurity landscape with cutting-edge technology that connects and creates value for administrators, analysts, and security experts. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to improve our design system and reusable platform services to enhance scalability, consistency, and efficiency of our cybersecurity products. In this role, you will partner closely with research, product teams, and engineering to abstract complex user needs into practical, scalable solutions, enabling our organization to innovate quickly and cohesively. Your contribution will define, develop, and implement trusted experiences enabling SentinelOne to protect customers at scale.
About Our Team
Our team of three engineers, two designers, and a project lead works on Gravity, SentinelOne’s design system. Gravity enables a consistent, high-quality, and accessible user experience across our products. It includes a foundations system, 59 components in React and Figma, 9 patterns, and comprehensive guidelines used daily by hundreds of engineers and dozens of designers. You'll help elevate a mature, complex enterprise design system and influence its strategic evolution. Our current focus is on quality, metrics, adoption, tooling, and long-term vision. Some of the potential challenges you should be prepared for are a fast-paced environment and shifting priorities.
What You Will Do
- Design System Development & Platform Design:
- Design and evolve foundational design system components, patterns, platform services and guidelines for use across multiple products.
- Design System and UI Platform Operations:
- Actively facilitate and participate in design system operations, including management of Figma libraries, design guidelines, feasibility reviews, and enablement of product design teams.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate insights, ensuring platform solutions are relevant, usable, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing: (opt)
- Mentor designers to cultivate platform-specific skills, enhance their operational effectiveness, and foster deeper understanding of platform methodologies and practices.
What You Need to Bring
- Enterprise Software & Platform Design Experience
- Experience in designing specifically for platforms, in particular building enterprise B2B design systems. Experience in cybersecurity domains is a plus.
- System thinking and Problem Decomposition
- Ability to abstract and generalize user problems across multiple products, translating complex stakeholder requirements into feasible and scalable solutions that deliver maximal reuse. Proficiency in breaking down complex design challenges into practical, phased solutions.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Solid communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with team members, stakeholders, and leadership in a hybrid working environment. Ability to effectively present and advocate for using design system and platform solutions across teams and leadership.
- Design Operations

- Design Tools Expertise
- Expert proficiency in core design tools (e.g., Figma), complemented by the ability to enhance workflows through plugins, automations, and cross-tool integrations.
- Technical Curiosity
- Comfortable engaging with engineering concepts, emerging technologies (e.g., AI integration, automation), and tools that enhance scalability of design systems. An understanding of front-end technologies (JS, CSS, HTML, React) will be a plus.
