Job Summary

This position entails the prompt evaluation of a variety of alerts, including VRM (Visa Risk Manager), MasterCard Connect, FALCON, FRMS (Fractals), TMX (ThreatMetrix), and FTDH (Fraud Transactions Dispute Handling), to effectively reduce the risk of fraud associated with Credit and Debit Cards, as well as Branch Accounts. It is essential to verify transactions with customers when suspicious activities are identified and to address risk concerns swiftly prior to the designated closure date. The role requires constant vigilance, robust analytical abilities, and exceptional customer service skills to uphold the security and integrity of the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely reviewing of (Visa Risk Manager), MasterCard Connect, FALCON, FRMS (Fractals), TMX (ThreatMetrix), and FTDH (Fraud Transactions Dispute Handling), to minimize fraudulent exposure against Credit / Debit Cards and Branch Accounts.
  • Review and Resolve ADEPTRA alerts, SMS’s and Customer calls.
  • Make calls to the customers for “Confirmation of Transaction” in cases of any suspicious activity found through system or manual reports.
  • Analyst must obtain positive verification to remove any doubts as to the identity of the card
  • Perform temporary blocking, where customer is “not in contact” & there is a suspicious activity on card / branch account.
  • Placements of permanent blocking with relevant codes, in case of confirmed fraud with respect to fraud type and ensure timely escalation to fraud operations or relevant units.
  • To identify and locate fraud prior to, during or subsequent to the completion of the fraudulent activity using statistical monitoring programs such as Fraud Detection Systems & Process/ Reports.
  • To achieve significant improvement in timeliness and accuracy in Authorization’s service delivery, optimize resource utilization and provide 24x7 Customer support.
  • Ensure the Fraud Risk Management framework is effectively embedded and communicated across Wealth and Retail Banking Customers segment.
  • Develop a proactive, independent, balanced and a fraud risk awareness culture within the organisation.
  • Develop effective fraud risk management strategies and timely deploy these strategies across products and channels
  • Ensure all risk issues are addressed by taking timely actions before the approved closure date.
  • Monitoring of all reports to identify all irregularities/excesses to ensure that immediate actions are in place.
  • Attend all required and mandatory trainings
  • Ensure compliance with the basic tenets of the AML, General Code of Conduct (GCOC) and other relevant policies of Bank & be a part of out-serve initiatives
  • To Ensure Data Protection & Client Data Confidentiality
  • To follow the clean desk policy all the time
