Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to SVP, US Commercial, this newly created role will serve as a leader for continuing to build and lead our analytics & insights capabilities including forecasting, data management, and market research. Candidates should be passionate about team leadership, functional excellence, and contributing as an individual in a growing organization. This position is based out of our headquarters in Redwood City, CA.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensures readiness to inform successful launch planning, commercialization, and performance tracking in the US market.
  • Leads a team to generate strategic insights from market research, forecasting and data analytics to drive critical business decisions and strategy, in support of current business needs and future opportunities.
  • Partners with global insights & analytics, commercial, medical affairs and other functions to understand current and future market landscapes, define business needs and primary market research objectives, and shape forecasts and financial model inputs.
  • Translates data and informs into compelling insights and recommendations. Effectively communicates insights and leading meetings with commercial team members and other cross functional business partners.
  • Develops and manages revenue forecasting to inform product and portfolio planning; refines our forecasting approach as business needs evolve.
  • Reinforces market research best practices, identifies market research and data sources, vendor options, and methodologies that are best suited to address a business need. Manages third parties associated with this function.
  • Partners with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Information Systems to build our data architecture, selects key data sources, and develop reports to monitor and guide performance.
  • Serves as a resource to leadership in identifying and tracking key business drivers.
  • Implements innovative solutions and brings in advanced capabilities to build best in class analytics and insights capabilities.
  • Leads and develops a team of 6-10 direct reports.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Advanced degree in scientific or business field and 15+ years of relevant experience in biotech, pharma and/or consulting.
  • Experience in oncology and with product launches.
  • Prior people management, manager of manager, and team leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to structure and interpret data to drive decision-making and impact strategy.
  • Deep experience and proficiency with short and long-term forecasting, market research and data management.
  • Clear and impactful communication to stakeholders including cross functional partners and senior leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think and operate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience launching a global oncology product.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $284,000 to $355,000 for candidates based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the minimum and maximum salary for the position in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.

Please note that base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
