The UT Success Academy Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing transition, engagement, and belonging efforts for students within the UT Success Academy. This position leads the planning, coordination, and assessment of educational and social programming that supports more than 800 students across four cohorts. The Coordinator also manages communication strategies, collaborates with campus and community partners, and supports outreach and engagement efforts with students and families to ensure a strong foundation of support in the early years of the collegiate experience.

The UT Success Academy Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing transition, engagement, and belonging efforts for students within the UT Success Academy. This position leads the planning, coordination, and assessment of educational and social programming that supports more than 800 students across four cohorts. The Coordinator also manages communication strategies, collaborates with campus and community partners, and supports outreach and engagement efforts with students and families to ensure a strong foundation of support in the early years of the collegiate experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Experience: One year of relevant experience in a college environment (part-time work will be considered at half-time).
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
    • Experience supporting first-generation students and students from a variety of backgrounds and lived experiences
    • Knowledge of issues related to student success, retention, and first-year transition
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with campus and community partners to foster collaboration
    • Proficient in presentation, outreach, and interpersonal communication
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated sensitivity and awareness in supporting the varied needs and experiences of students
    • Commitment to understanding and responding to the needs of a broad and evolving student population

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Higher Education, Leadership, Student Affairs
  • Experience: Direct experience supporting first-generation college students and those from a broad range of educational and life experiences.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
    • Demonstrated experience in student engagement, event coordination, workshop facilitation, or a related area within higher education.
    • Proficiency in using assessment practices and data analysis to inform planning and improve program outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

UT market range:

  • Anticipated hiring range: Minimum $45,000
