The Project Manager/ Sr Manager, Cargo is part of the Cargo Division. As a member of the Cargo Strategy team, this individual will play a critical role in defining and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for end-to-end cargo processes. This is a high-impact position that requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

- Lead cross-functional projects that enhance cargo operations, from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, risk mitigation strategies, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, compliance, IT, sales) and external partners to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement scalable, compliant, and customer-focused solutions across the global cargo network.
- Monitor operational performance and regulatory compliance, using data-driven insights to recommend and implement improvements.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and leadership, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Create and deliver executive-level presentations that communicate project value, progress, and impact.
- Support change management efforts, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent military experience
- 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or process improvement, preferably in transportation, logistics, or air cargo.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed, including to international destinations
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, or related discipline).
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification.
- Experience working in or with airline cargo operations or freight forwarding.
- Familiarity with IATA, TSA, CBP, and other regulatory bodies governing air cargo.
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to drive insights and reporting.
