Purpose of the Job


Analysis and resolution of escalated and complex fault cases and recommendation for preventive & corrective actions for enhanced customer experience



Key Deliverables:

Expected Key Results


1. Resolution of complex and escalated problems

- Ensure resolution of escalated problems

- Analysis and recommendation for preventive/corrective actions

2. Adaptation of new product/technologies

- Enhancing skill on new product and technologies

- Support to multivendor / multi-technology solution designing

3. Cross-functional team work

- Co-ordination with planning, engineering, NOC and field teams for identifying the root cause and solution

- Working with OEMs to establish RCA and corrective actions

4. Knowledge Sharing

- Imparting knowledge sharing to enable TAC1/TAC2 teams

- Creating knowledge database and case studies

5. Processes development

- Review of Standard  operating procedures in fault management

- Study of industry best practices and recommendation for improvement



Qualification & Key skills/ competencies:


-          In-depth knowledge of SDH, DWDM, OTN, NPT, EPT domains

-          Expert level of working experience with P2P & P2MP Services, EoSDH, Layer 0 / Layer 1 Core network, ASON, MoT, QoS, Traffic Engineering, Multicast, QoS, RSVP

-          Hands on with Huawei, CIENA, ALU, TEJAS, ECI, high end DXC, OTN and DWDM equipment

-          Excellent Problem Solving skill

-          Adaptation of new product and technologies

-          Excellent Customer focus

-          Good Collaboration with cross-functional domain.

-          Bachelor Degree in E&C Engineering

-          Inter-personal skills & Decision making 

-          Total work experience of 8-11 years with Large Service Provider or TAC of Product/Solution based organization
