Job Summary: The HR Systems & Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our HR systems, policies, procedures, and practices are maintained in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the areas of systems administration and compliance, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
- Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of HR practices to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
- Develop and manage compliance project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and communication plans
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date with changes to relevant laws and regulations, and ensure that HR systems, policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits and investigations related to HR compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that HR compliance initiatives are integrated into the organization's overall strategy.
- Training:
- Provide training on HR systems and assist with troubleshooting issues.
- Work with other internal stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Systems:
- Oversee and support the implementation of compliance related needs in the HRIS and company processes globally
- Test, evaluate, and plan for the implementation of compliance related functionality changes in the HRIS across all areas of HR (time keeping, payroll, benefits, recruitment, data privacy etc.)
- Periodically audit the accuracy, completeness, and security of employee data and processes within the HRIS using reporting and audit logs
- Identify opportunities to improve the tracking and controls environment in the HRIS, including automation, integration, and data entry processes.
- Work with other departments to integrate HRIS with other business systems
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR systems and recommend improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
