VP, Managing Salesforce Administrator

Jefferies is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to lead our admin team and maintain/support/optimize our Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with expert level knowledge in SF system administration and declarative customizations. Additionally, the ideal candidate is proficient in SF development to effectively troubleshoot issues across the platform and triage/delegate issues to their team. Here at Jefferies, we have developed bespoke internal applications for many lines of business (i.e. Investment Banking, Global Markets, Wealth Management) on Salesforce with a very high level of customization. We are looking for people with a strong background in Salesforce administration and an interest in working in Investment Banking to support us on our journey.

We are looking for someone to manage our internal admin team, build and maintain a world-class CRM system.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary system administrator for Salesforce (with a focus on - focus on Integrations, CDC/Platform Events, SSO, Experience Cloud)
  • Oversee a team of administrators onshore and offshore (onshore – NY, US; offshore – Pune, IN). Responsible for driving team deliverables and delegating work to individuals on the team, unblock team members when issues arise.
  • “Keep the lights on” - Responsible for maintaining the Salesforce instance security and availability, identifying issues that potentially impact services and remediate.
  • “Run the engine” - Driving completion of ad-hoc requests from the business and automating repeated admin-team tasks/responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in SF development and architecture to support system design and troubleshooting issues.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with many moving parts and competing interests.

Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years within the Salesforce Ecosystem with experience managing a complex heavily customized Salesforce ORG.
  • 2+ years leading/mentoring junior team members
  • Expertise in declarative salesforce customizations (flow, workflow, approval process, email alerts/templates, sites, etc.)
  • Proven experience in designing custom end-user solutions in Salesforce
  • In-depth knowledge of the capabilities and constraints building in Salesforce platform
  • Highly efficient communicator that can interface with development teams from around the globe (primarily NY, London, and Pune)
  • Understand of Salesforce integration patterns REST and SOAP for API traffic ingress/egress from Salesforce
  • Knowledge how to setup and administrate SSO for Salesforce access
  • Ability to read and debug Apex and JavaScript Code.
  • Ability to work in-office minimum 3-days a week
  • Familiar with Agile methodology, Sprints/Scrum, etc.
  • Experience with GIT version control and CI/CD practices

  • Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
  • Salesforce Certified System Administrator II certification
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect certifications
  • Understanding of access controls Least Privilege and Separation of Duties and how these relate when creating new user roles / modifying existing
  • Understand of relational databases and relational database design (SQL, SOQL, or similar)
  • Familiarity with JIRA and confluence
  • Experience in developing Experience Cloud sites

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $175,000 - $200,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
