The Senior Manager, Revenue Mgt Field Support, US & Canada works closely with the Sr. Director, Revenue Mgt Field Support, as well as Revenue Management leadership to ensure the most current and effective revenue management resources are available and utilized in US & Canada within the Managed by Marriott organization and the broader Franchise community. This position is responsible for responding to gaps in processes, standards, and training related to revenue management, and activating solutions. This position assists with Continent initiatives in partnership with Continent Revenue Management leadership and the Topline Franchise Support team and will be tasked to collaborate with Marketing and Distribution to execute programs and promotions. The Senior Manager, Revenue Mgt Field Support US & Canada demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant systems and processes and represents the discipline on cross-functional project teams.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

Revenue Management Business Support & Projects

  • Respond to and research inquiries to the US/Canada RM Field Support inbox daily
  • Ongoing systems support, including One Yield, High Performance Pricing, MARSHA, MarRFP and ERS
  • Conduct deep dives and/or system wide training
  • Participate in Business Transformation Office activities as part of Digital Tech Transformation, provide content reviews and be an active member as the voice of Revenue Management
  • Provide process documentation for Demand Generation offers as well as other rate guidelines processes in which RM plays a role
  • Co-facilitate virtual training sessions for groups of 3 up to 50 people with Senior Director of RM Field Support as needed
  • Ad-hoc activities to support the Revenue Managers within the continent
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems
  • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
  • Contribute to developing or improving current tools and processes
  • Document processes for Revenue Managers for ongoing initiatives to drive Non-Room Products and Ancillary spend

Building Successful Relationships

  • Acts as a liaison, when necessary, among teams
  • Develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships
  • Provides targeted and timely communication of results, achievements, and challenges to all stakeholders

Performs other duties as assigned

CANDIDATE PROFILE - KEY TALENTS AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED

Education and Experience

A degree in a relevant business discipline preferred or demonstration of equivalent work experience.

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; and prefer 2-year experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

OR

  • 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; and prefer 2 years’ experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
  • Marriott Revenue Management experience to include MARSHA and One Yield
  • Data analysis skills including Excel. SQL, Tableau and Excel pivot table skills are beneficial
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Team player: builds strong relationships and collaborates with stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take explain complex information in a clear, concise and complete manner
  • Teamwork –Ability to work both independently and as part of an effective team.
  • Building Credible Relationships; Demonstrates self-confidence and is capable of building credibility among peers
  • Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes
  • Understands and meets the needs of key stakeholders (Manager, hotels, regional team)
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to influence; advocates sound financial/business decision making

The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $68.41 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
