Business and IT Requirements Analyst

The Opportunity:

As Business and Information Technology (IT) Requirements Analyst, you will work to capture and refine system requirements for a large-scale human capital modernization effort.

You will work with stakeholders to elicit business needs and translate them into system requirements for software developers to implement. You will translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories following the team’s Agile software development practices.

You will coordinate with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements to support the full lifecycle of IT requirements management to include gathering, analyzing, verifying, and validating the needs and requirements for the client's human capital management system.

You Have:

• Experience gathering and writing business or software requirements
• Experience working collaboratively with team members, government clients, and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Process and Agile development
• Ability to perform in a high paced work environment with multiple competing priorities
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Microsoft Visio
• Experience with Agile tools, including Jira
• Experience with writing requirements as features or user stories
• Experience with business process improvement
• Experience working and collaborating with technical staff and engineers
• Experience with systems engineering or software development
• Knowledge of Human Resources processes, practices, or systems
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
