Role & Responsibilities:
Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):
The Senior Manager, Change Management serves as a change leader for the S/4 Business Transformation, driving the overall implementation from the people side of change perspective. This role is responsible for designing and executing the change management strategy to enable functional teams to adopt new ways of working across the organization. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition, fostering engagement, alignment, and sustained change across VF’s APAC region.
This role is a three-year contract role, with flexibility to be based in either in Shanghai or Singapore.
Key Result Areas:
- Change Strategy Design: Develop and lead the overarching change management strategy, roadmap, and framework for the S/4 transformation, focusing on people readiness, adoption, and cultural alignment.
- Stakeholder Support: Partner with functional teams to embed change management practices, providing tools, guidance, and frameworks to drive adoption of the new way of working.
- Change Leadership: Act as the primary advocate for change, guiding stakeholders through the change curve by designing tailored communication plans, training programs, and resistance management strategies.
- Adoption & Engagement: Design, monitor and measure adoption metrics, ensuring sustained use of S/4HANA capabilities and addressing gaps through targeted interventions.
- Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with the business leadership, functional leads, and program PMO to align change initiatives with project timelines, business objectives, and regional priorities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine the change approach based on feedback and lessons learned, ensuring long-term success of the S/4 transformation.

Organizational transformation skills
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing change management frameworks for large-scale, technology-driven initiatives.
- Extensive experience leading change for regional ERP transformations (SAP S/4HANA preferred), with a focus on people-centric strategies.
- Ability to develop and execute change roadmaps that integrate with project plans and deliver measurable adoption outcomes.
- Excellent facilitation and training skills to support functional teams and end-users.
Domain knowledge
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred) and their impact on business processes (e.g., finance, supply chain, procurement).
- Familiarity with [specific industry, e.g., retail, manufacturing] is an advantage.
Technology awareness
- Experience leveraging technology to enable change, with a focus on ERP implementations.
- Proficiency in change management and project tools (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Smartsheet, MS Office) is a plus.
Functional Competencies
- Expertise in applying change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci) to drive organizational adoption.
- Passion for empowering people through transformative change initiatives.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in change management leadership, with a focus on business transformations (ERP / SAP S/4HANA experience highly desirable).
- 3+ years of experience in collaborating with functional stakeholders in a change leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering change roadmaps for complex, multi-country implementations.
- Proven ability to work as a strategic partner to senior leadership, fostering collaboration and driving adoption.
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training delivery.
Academic Qualifications
- Minimum: Degree holder, MBA is a Plus
- Subject Expert In: Change management
- Certifications: Prosci Change Management Practitioner Certification (or similar qualification) preferred but not essential
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English and Chinese

Frequency of Travel: 20 - 30%
