Responsibilities

The Opportunity

As a Data Management Analyst for the Make to Deploy team, you will be part of a North America support function, responsible for executing and sustaining high-quality material master data processes in SAP MDG S4 HANNA. This includes the prioritization and resolution of tasks via platforms such as ServiceNow, ensuring timely and effective support for our business stakeholders.

Your work will enable data accuracy, operational efficiency, and alignment with PepsiCo’s global governance standards across sectors such as FLNA, PBNA, and PQGC.

This role requires a collaborative mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and a high standard for documentation and reporting. Prior experience in process mapping is highly valued, as you will help design and visualize workflows that support continuous improvement and effective issue resolution across the data lifecycle.

Your Impact

As Enterprise Data Operations Analyst your responsibilities would consist of

Maintain, validate, and update material master data records in SAP (MDG/S4 HANA) aligned with business requirements and governance standards.

Monitor and resolve ServiceNow tickets for material-related requests, ensuring SLA adherence and high-quality resolution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, Manufacturing, Deployment, Quality, etc.) to address material data needs and process alignment.

Evaluate, document, and improve data-related processes, including the development of workflows, standards, and SOPs.

Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to track performance, trends, and data quality indicators.

Support creation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative metrics to optimize processes and monitor initiative success.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation for material records; proactively identify data inconsistencies and address root causes.

Design and maintain process flows and visuals.

Contribute to governance by applying data standards, implementing controls, and supporting audit readiness.

Participate in global and sector initiatives to improve data accuracy, process automation, and reporting capabilities.

Support training and onboarding through high-quality documentation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in Data Management or Data Analytics.

Experience with system implementation, testing, and baseline support is a plus.

Familiarity with SAP (MDG/S4 HANA) and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).

Strong skills in Microsoft Visio for process mapping.

Experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.

Understanding of data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.

Excellent documentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Detail-oriented and thorough, with a focus on data accuracy and compliance.

Advanced English proficiency is required.

Experience with SQL is preferred.

Knowledge of material master data and MTD processes is a strong plus.
