The opportunity

Through the collective power of BMC, and the other teams and specialists we work with, we aim to build a better working world by driving commercial value through distinctive marketing and communications that deliver measurable market impact. This role will focus on maximizing the efficiency of Global BMC's S2P operations. The ideal candidate will drive proactive projects to identify and capture opportunities that reduce costs, mitigate risks, and improve speed to market, while also investigating and resolving day-to-day issues within the S2P process. The successful candidate must demonstrate tenacity for problem-solving in a highly matrixed environment where processes across multiple organizational lines reporting directly to the Vendor Compliance & Initiatives Lead

Your key responsibilities

• •Oversee and manage the Global BMC S2P operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
• Investigate and resolve day-to-day operational issues within the S2P process, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Work on proactive projects aimed at identifying cost-saving opportunities and enhancing operational performance.
• Work with the Vendor Compliance & Initiatives Lead to analyse current S2P processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that reduce risk and improve speed to market.
• Maintain a deep understanding of EY and Global BMC operations, including risk and procurement policies.
• Develop and maintain strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-direction within the team.

Skills and attributes for success

• People/ Operations / Project Management experience
• Quickly build knowledge of the EY business, particularly the key priorities, structure, internal audience, core offerings and our clients’ issues and agendas.
• Help driving change, innovation, process automation and continuous improvements across the organization.
• Ability to engage in highly confidential discussions and maintain trust in all interactions.
• A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently.
• Ability to work in a high pace, agile environment.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proven experience in S2P operations, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of EY and Global BMC operations, including risk and procurement policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-direct projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, global team environment.
