Major Duties :

  • Daily reporting role covering Capital and Liquidity monitoring across NTGS, Guernsey and UK reporting.
  • Month end statistical reporting to Bank of England statistical reporting for London Branch and NTGS UK Branch
  • Performs various analyses required to assess the capital and liquidity position of various entities organization.
  • Researches and resolves reporting issues, reconciling source data with balance sheet data to ensure completeness and consistency of reporting.
  • Involvement in Regulatory projects as required, including systems changes, upgrades etc.
  • Involvement in the preparation and investigation of requirements for additional / increased/ amended regulatory reporting as required.
  • More technically sound in finance/accounting and has broader knowledge of other areas

Knowledge :

  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to assess issues, identify solutions and problem solve
  • Ability to react and respond on a timely basis
  • Ability to adapt and react positively in a changing and dynamic work environment whilst maintaining a high degree of commitment and focus
  • Flexible approach towards changing work methods, deadlines and variable workloads

Experience :

  • Finance related background
  • Strong functional expertise of Microsoft Excel (Power BI, Macros) with an ability to proficiently manipulate source data both efficiently and effectively
  • Good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products and systems
  • Experience working with the Midas or PeopleSoft an advantage but, not essential
  • Previous working knowledge of regulatory returns an advantage but, not essential
