Job Description:
You will be reporting to PROJECT MANAGEMENT & ENGINEERING MANAGER, SEA.
Responsible for project management and the technical expertise required by the lifecycle Services (LCS) Business. Hold main responsibilities in planning of customers' projects. Also manage the development of technical and commercial documentation required by projects and proposals.
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan major customer projects which require the commitment of skills and resources.
- Manage large project teams including lead engineer, site manager, administrative support and third-party vendors.
- Manage multi-function and multi-vendor efforts to plan and implement multiple, integrated system solutions to customers' complex projects.
- Implement appropriate project management process & tools of the company.
- Define and manage overall change control processes and quality assurance aspects of the project to ensure project success.
- Define and manage overall project risk identification and mitigation process through interaction with project partners.
- Identify all project barriers and identify strategies to overcome these barriers.
- Complete and manage project activities using an industry standard project management process and approach to provide a approach to project completion with other similar projects.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; further education in project management is desirable.
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in a software, process automation or application engineering capacity project management experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
- Expertise at simultaneously managing multiple complex customer projects.
- Experience with direct customer contact is required.
- Can work in a where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
- Excellent conflict resolution and people interface skills.
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites.
- Project experience in the industries of Automotive, Tire, CPG, Life Science, Mining, Metal, Cement, Pulp & Paper, Chemical, and Power Generation are desirable.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Project management and engineering management with knowledge of IFS
- Experience with most RA products and Broad industry application knowledge and high level of expertise in Systems and Solutions applications.
- Experience with Solutions/Services processes and standards
- Large size project management or Program management experience
- Vendor management experience
- Customer relationship management
