Job Summary

The Senior IT Project Manager, will ensure successful, cross-functional execution of strategic initiatives supporting the Fund Services Domain of RBC Investor Services. This is a critical role for a delivery leader who is outcomes-driven, strategically minded, and execution-focused – with the ability to build trust and alignment across internal and external partners.

You have a proven record of leading medium to large scale projects successfully and effectively building relationships with your sponsors and key stakeholders.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Fund Services, the Senior IT Project Manager, will have the flexibility to run projects in either iterative-waterfall or agile while practicing strong financial discipline, governance, and clear (effective) initiative reporting. You will play a central role in shaping delivery outcomes and contributing to our ambitious organizational strategy.

What will you do?

• Lead delivery of key initiatives within a complex transformation portfolio by leaning on your strong planning and execution abilities.
• Build trust-based relationships with your sponsors, senior leadership, and key internal stakeholders and external vendor partners.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and interdependencies with clear action plans
• Track and manage financials, including budgets, forecasts, estimates, invoices and SOWs
• Maintain timely and clear initiative reporting across timelines, scope, risks, and financial health
• Contribute to a delivery culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and adaptability

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Strong outcomes-driven delivery experience, with a track record of leading complex initiatives to completion
• Proven ability to impact and influence cross-functional partners and key stakeholders, both internal and external, across varying levels of seniority
• Solid financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and contracts
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem solving skills
• Experience facilitating agile ceremonies and managing delivery within hybrid environments
• Ability to navigate through seasons of ambiguity and changing priorities

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with MURAL, LeanKit, Jira, Confluence
• Experience within the Custody and/or Fund Services industry.
• Experience with transformative projects, client transitions, SaaS onboardings
