DUTIES:

  • Responsible for the entire software implementation process, including driving the definition of business needs for new BI applications and making enhancements to existing applications.
  • Meet with business partners for software requirements gathering and user sign off.
  • Provide guidance to other junior members on the team throughout the entire software implementation process for analytics applications.
  • Responsible for overall software solution design, including building and testing using the following technologies: MicroStrategy, BTEQ, and Control M.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation on the team Confluence Page.
  • Identify, define and implement necessary technical enhancements in our methods, standards and processes to better enable teams and constructive enterprise applications.
  • Actively participate in Scrum team.
  • Attend daily stand-ups, code reviews, backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions.
  • Monitor the status of work items in JIRA.
  • Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • In addition, experience with the following skills is required: 1. Developing Business Intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy. 2. Performing MicroStrategy architectural changes to build semantic layer for ad-hoc reporting use. 3. Developing Control-M scripts to automate the processes and perform day-to-day activities. 4. Designing and developing reporting components in an agile environment utilizing a test-driven development approach. 5. Analyzing data for pattern and trend identification, data mapping and issue identification using SQL tools. 6. Building functional design or prototypes based on JAD sessions with business. 7. Developing processes using Teradata tools and utilities.

JOB SITE: 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105

WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]

PAY RANGE: $132,921.50 to $158,100.00 per year
