About your future job As part of our strategic digital transformation journey, Thales Netherlands is seeking an experienced motivated project manager to lead complex, cross-functional digital initiatives that will transform the way we work and innovate. In this role, you will manage and deliver digital transformation projects across departments including IT and engineering. You will ensure effective planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with Thales’ broader transformation goals.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Lead end-to-end project management of digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors/partners.
  • Contribute to governance and change management processes to support adoption.
  • Monitor performance, track KPIs, and report progress to leadership.
  • Uphold Thales standards for quality, cybersecurity, and operational integrity.

Why you’d be a good match

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, business administration, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within the technology, engineering, or high-tech industry.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Great communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building a network and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Projects, Jira, Confluence).
  • Dutch nationality is required due to security and defense project regulations.
  • Security screening (AIVD-B) is mandatory.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
