Position Summary:
In the role of HR File Clerk, you will support the Payroll / Human Resources department with a special digital filing project to convert all physical employee files into digital formats.
Essential Job Functions:
- Document Preparation: Organize and prepare physical employee files for digitization, ensuring all documents are complete and properly sorted.
- Scanning and Digitization: Use scanning equipment to convert paper documents into digital formats, ensuring high-quality and legible digital files.
- Data Entry: Accurately input information from employee files into digital systems, maintaining thorough records and indexes for easy access and retrieval.
- Quality Control: Regularly check digitized files for accuracy and clarity, correcting any errors that may arise during the digitization process.
- Confidentiality and Security: Handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Collaboration with IT: Coordinate with the IT department to ensure digitization aligns with company technological standards and security protocols.
Hours will vary depending on the assigned projects. Must be flexible to move from 8 hours a day to 4 hours a day.
Position Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency using digital tools
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Lift 25 pounds
Base Pay Range: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
