Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Video Producer to join our creative team, embedded directly with Flyers Hockey Operations out of Voorhees, New Jersey. This crucial role will report to the Director, Video Production and be responsible for capturing, producing, and delivering compelling video content across all platforms, from practices and game days to exclusive team features and road coverage.

This role will work collaboratively across multiple departments, managing relationships, understanding department needs, and managing deadlines. They will work closely with the Digital department, as well as the Communications and Video Production departments.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary video shooter and editor embedded with Philadelphia Flyers Hockey Operations at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, New Jersey.
  • Capture, deliver, and upload essential video assets including practices, press conferences, media availabilities, and pre/post-game content.
  • Travel with the team to manage all video content needs for digital platforms and hockey communications on the road.
  • Play a significant role in the production of exclusive Flyers content.
  • Produce, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality video content for all Comcast Spectacor entities, ensuring alignment with organizational messaging across broadcast, game presentation, and social/digital channels.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of assigned video projects, including scripting, scheduling, directing talent, and overseeing post-production and delivery.
  • Provide comprehensive video coverage for live events across various departments.
  • Develop engaging event coverage, including B-roll media packages, recaps, and social-first content.
  • Create diverse video content specifically for hockey platforms.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize, develop, and execute innovative content, stories, and activations.
  • Assist with media management and maintain organization of production equipment.
  • Support podcast production as needed.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
