Duties & Responsibilities
Data Quality & Process Improvement
- Engages in ongoing data quality assurance, auditing, and cleansing efforts to maintain high data integrity.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and supports documentation and implementation of optimized workflows.
- Utilizes APIs and other tools to extract, clean, and analyze data from university databases and systems.
- Analyzes project timelines, monitors deliverables, and follows up on outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion.

Research Support & Analytics
- Conducts quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support faculty-led research initiatives.
- Consults with faculty researchers and staff to advise on research project evaluations, design methodologies, and data strategies.
- Applies statistical and analytical software and database management tools for research and performance evaluation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Institutional & Accreditation Reporting
- Prepares and submits accurate reports to accrediting and certifying agencies (e.g., CCNE, NLN) and assists with accreditation efforts for additional programs (e.g., Simulation Center).
- Compiles program data for internal systems (e.g., TaskStream) and supports the annual submission of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) institutional report.
- Manages vendor relationships and maintains dashboards and reporting tools used by the college.

Survey Management & Fundraising Support
- Designs and administers surveys and assessments in support of institutional research and academic performance.
- Processes and analyzes survey data for use in strategic planning, student engagement, and fundraising campaigns.
- Maintains demographic and status data on students and prospects within the fundraising database in collaboration with campus partners.

Data Management & Stewardship
- Ensures secure storage and proper management of all electronic and paper-based data per federal regulations and LCON policies.
- Maintains accurate, consistent electronic and historical records related to alumni, donors, students, and other key constituents.
- Coordinates with data stewards across functional areas to align data processes and promote consistency in institutional records.
- Document departmental metrics and performance indicators for internal and external use.
