Job Summary:

The Supervisor of Spares Cycle Count and Inventory is responsible for the development and implementation of scheduled cycle counts for spare parts located in Teterboro and outside warehouses, which are the responsibility of the Spares Department. Also responsible for auditing documents, transactions and procedures related to the Spares Department inventory. Ultimately, this position will develop and produce management reports highlighting results of cycle counts and other audit procedures

Principal Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Supervision and development of the following:

  • Supervise two (2) direct reports who perform daily cycle counts and reconciliation of cycle counts.
  • Prepare schedule of cycle counts to be performed. Audit of inventory records accuracy through scheduled and on demand cycle counts, including review of current cycle count system and development of any changes required to that system. Cycle count responsibility is for Spares inventory in Little Ferry warehouse and other Spares department inventory in outside warehouses.
  • Report cycle count and other audit findings to Management through monthly reporting.
  • Communicate with Finance and Spares management related to cycle count differences and internal control problems.
  • Reconcile outside warehouse inventory on a monthly basis.
  • Ensures inventory scrapping and write-off procedures are followed.
  • Communicate with Spares Warehouse management related to inventory control issues found during cycle counts or audits.
  • Responsible for audit of Spares inventory by outside auditors including annual test counts by auditors.
  • Coordinate inventory control activities with MIS, Accounting and Spares department.
  • All other duties assigned by management

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • College degree (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years inventory cycle count/inventory control experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years supervisory experience
  • Thorough understanding of cycle count procedures and inventory control principles
  • Experience with an inventory ERP system, preferably SAP experience
  • Good written and verbal skills

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • SAP experience preferred
  • Exposure to ISO procedures preferred
  • Aviation experience is a plus

Working Conditions:

Office environment with cubicle in Spares department near warehouse.

Some travel required to outside warehouses.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position typically falls between $77,000 and $90,000 per year.

Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
